Many people find it inconvenient for various reasons, to take the time and energy to empty the contents of their home. Some people live out of town and find it necessary to prepare a second home for sale. For elderly homeowners, at some point many of them decide to scale down, moving to smaller quarters when the work of maintaining a large home becomes a burden. Many people who move due to changing life circumstances, find it is not feasible to move their furnishings. Our purpose is to handle the situation for them. We will arrange consignments, donations and disposal of furnishings, clothing, decorative items, tools, food and all other remaining contents. We will provide receipts from donations for IRS purposes, set up consignments with the client being the direct recipient of sales, pack clothing and other items for charily, bring usable food to food banks, arrange sales to second hand furniture stores, and make any other arrangements necessary to accomplish our task. This can all be done without the disruption of our client's normal activities. Our services cost less than traditional moving costs and depend on the volume of materials to be moved. Costs are partially offset by the cash from sales and IRS deductions. In some cases there are savings in transportation, food and lodging and time not taken off from work. In other cases, our clients simply don't have the time, the ability or the willingness to tackle this job. For some, it's simply not worth it... Call us!
